This past weekend started off very productive and gradually landed at a Michigan weather road block. Interior walls were all up by the day end on Friday and trusses were delivered Friday evening. Maneuvering the semi's through the winding drive took almost 2 hours. Saturday we had our family photos done outside the house, thankfully I have been thinking ahead more lately and decided it would be a great memory to hang on our wall once our home is complete. This girls toured the house and picked out which bedroom they wanted, which resulted in Emma letting Nevaeh pick first (such a nice older sister). The snow storm rolled in mid afternoon and that was what has now held up construction on this lovely Michigan Monday morning. The plumber, was able to come plumb the basement and call for inspection (passed yippee!) The electrician was also out digging the trench and wiring the box onto the house. Once the electrical inspector gives us the green light, DTE can come install the transformer and turn our power on! Building will resume tomorrow but for today, we are just enjoying the beautiful snow covered view.
