It has been a little over a month since we broke ground. This past week was anything but productive. Between the two winter storms and below zero temps the site sat vacant for the majority of the week. Yesterday they were on site working and organizing the trusses for install today. I showed up with a package of hand/body warmers for the framers and they asked Jeff if I thought they were sissy's. Jeff's response was "No, that is her way of saying get my house framed, next she will show up with coffee. " Ah yes he knows me too well! But it worked! Trusses went up today and as of the last update I received at 11am it looks like they were moving right along!
Update! As of 4:50 tonight the rood trusses on the main part of the house are in! They will now begin to build the mud room garage and bonus room!!! SO exciting!
